Seasonal Programs that Serve Our Community
There are many ways that parishioners at Christ Church donate their time, talent, and treasure to help those in need. Throughout the year we invite parishioners to share with those in need:
Family to Family
We are sponsoring again in 2023, children through the Angel Tree program at The Salvation Army. To sponsor a child, contact the Parish Administrator. We need all gifts, unwrapped, in by Sunday, December 8th. Through our Church School program, we will be setting up a Baby Article Tree in the back of the church and invite you to join in this special initiative for Bethesda House. We will also be collecting grocery store gift cards from Stop & Shop and Market Basket for the elderly.
Thanksgiving Baskets
Parishioners donate food and gather to assemble bags with items for a complete Thanksgiving meal. These bags are distributed to families in need through the Food Pantry. We typically serve about 100 families through this program. For more information contact the Parish Administrator.
