Christ Church Thrift Shoppe

After reviewing several options, Christ Church decided to repurpose the first floor of the rectory (Hall House) into a Thrift Shoppe.  The Christ Church Thrift Shoppe officially opened for business in April 2012.  Located at 6 Lothrop St. at the rear of the Church and next to the Food Pantry, the Shoppe sells high quality men’s, and women’s clothing at incredible bargain prices.  The Shoppe also offers affordably priced jewelry, books, housewares, kitchen appliances, small furniture, home décor, and seasonal items.

We kindly request all donated items be clean, in good working order, and from a smoke-free home. Donations are gladly accepted when the Shoppe is open. Items should be clean and gently used. Tax donation receipts are available.

• Bedding and linens unless new and in package
• Baby and children’s clothing
• Baby equipment
• Toys, games and puzzles
• Stuffed animals
• Non-fiction books including cookbooks
• Underwear, bras, socks, nightwear unless new
• Electronics, computers, modems, keyboards
• Televisions
• Items with cords not up to code
• Large tools
• Pans with scratched non-stick surfaces
• Socks and Shoes unless new with a tag or box
• Hair accessories unless in original packaging
• Record albums
• Men’s dress suits/suit jackets

Thrift Shoppe Hours:

  • Thursday & Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Saturday 10:00am - 1:00pm

Volunteers of all ages are always welcome to join our friendly associates.

 Volunteers typically work a 3 hour shift once a week as a shopkeeper (cashier) or as merchandisers (displaying items).
