Pastoral Care

At Christ Church we do our best to live out Jesus’ command to love one another as we have been loved. Our clergy and our pastoral care team is always available to you, not only in times of crisis, but also to companion with you as you meet life’s many challenges.

If you are hospitalized and wish to have a pastoral visit, please let us know. Do not assume we know when either you or someone you love has been hospitalized. Please contact us as soon as you are able or ask the hospital chaplain to contact us on your behalf.

Knitting Ministry

Those who are a part of this wonderful ministry knit shawls for anyone who might want or need to be embraced by God’s love. We welcome all who do needle crafts, i.e., crocheting, knitting and weaving. If you cannot join us, but can work from home, we welcome your participation. The members of this ministry are available and happy to teach you how to knit, so don’t let that hold you back! The group meets on the fourth Friday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the hospitality suite at the church from September through May.

Prayer Chain

Our prayer chain is a group of people in our parish who pray in confidence for the needs of our parish family on a daily basis. Please call the parish office (508-746-4959) to have your name or the name of a loved one given to the prayer chain. If you are interested in being part of this prayer chain ministry please contact us.

Prayer Ministry

Members of our prayer team are available to pray with you every Sunday during the Eucharist at the side altar during the 10:00 a.m. service to lift up whatever is on your heart. If you need to receive the grace of God’s healing touch and you desire to be anointed, you are invited to receive the laying on of hands at that time. Our prayer ministers are trained and keep strict confidences. If you want to explore what it might be like to a part of this prayer ministry, please contact us.
